Creativity Cue of the Week - People Watching!

What is a fundamental tool for writers and actors that is totally free? People watching! Now that we are getting into our world again, it will be easier to partake of this delightful and sometimes spooky exercise.

I portrayed an outraged lady in a character study acting class. I’ve also added to my paranormal Christmas book an older woman addressing a senior citizen couple with the greeting, “Hiya, kids!”

Both of these scenarios I glanced upon in real life. It’s fun to watch from the sidelines or from behind some fabulous sunglasses to gleam that creative spark for your next character.
