31 Days of Halloween with
The Kelly Society
Welcome To Unpleasant Dreams. Chilling stories told by Cassandra Harold. Topics include strange phenomena, mind benders, head scratchers and mysterious true crime cases.
Vivien and Neal here to promote a fabulous new podcast which debuted last August called Unpleasant Dreams with Cassandra Harold. We, and the entire Kelly Society paranormal cleansing team are excited because the host, Cassandra is our friend’s daughter. We are cheering her on!
Once we listened to her show trailer, Neal and I chatted eagerly about Cassandra’s rich, captivating voice. She has the perfect vocal sound for storytelling, and obviously has found her calling.
Cassandra's first six episodes have already aired, with much more to come.
Our interview questions for Cassandra
Each day when you get up in the morning, what is it about the paranormal, magical, and unexplained realm that keeps you riveted?
I think it is the mere fact that so much is unexplained. As humans, we are prone to the misconception that we understand everything, when, in reality, we understand almost nothing. It is that desire to learn and explore: to poke and prod at what some call a closed case that keeps me coming back for more.
What was your best Halloween ever?
While I could recount you with a number of very lovely, but very similar, years spent trick-or-treating, I think I will instead hit upon last year's festivities. To stretch out that precious chilling day, I decided to create "Cassandra's Spooky Month of Terrors" (trademark pending). Essentially, I attempted to cram in as many horror movies as I could stomach from every imaginable sub-genre: slasher, psychological, sci-fi, etc. over the course of October. It all culminated on Halloween day when I marathoned as many movies as I could while enjoying spooky themed desserts I made with my family (I highly recommend ghosts in the graveyard.)
Well, now we have to look up Ghosts in the Graveyard dessert! Can’t wait to try it.
And now, please check out Unpleasant Dreams first episode about creepy and frightening black eyes kids.

Incidentally, the transcript of each show is attached in the notes so people can read it as well. Cassandra and her crew also include sources and further reading on the subject of her weekly shows. Suffice it to say, talent runs in the Harold family!
Thank you for taking the time to visit us, Cassandra.
Congratulations to you, and to your team: Producer Jim Harold and writer Maddy Hilker.
Happy Halloween to all!
