31 Days of Halloween with
The Kelly Society
Jason here, your favorite paranormal videographer for The Kelly Society. Well, let me tell you something - Astonishing Legends electrified my curiosity so much about the supernatural - I wound up part of Vivien Kelly's team.
Astonishing Legends podcast began in 2014 and is still going strong. They cover an array of topics that everyone can discover:
My Favorite Episode is - The Devil in the Diner
Intro for The Devil in the Diner:
Have you ever encountered someone other-worldly; someone who seemed to exude a dark charisma that frightened you with their ability to be so magnetic?
Talented comedy writer, Paula Pell, of Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, and a feature film called The Nest, joins us in this episode for a glimpse over her shoulder at an event from her past that while fleeting, was so poignant it stuck with her for the rest of her life. A chance crossing of paths with what on the surface seemed to be a man, but upon closer inspection felt like much, much more than that.
Evidentially, a man dressed in black possessing frighteningly dark energy walked into a New York City diner where Paula Pell and a friend sat to eat a meal. He grinned with a mouth unnaturally wide for his face. Then, Paula ran after her friend who bolted from the restaurant, because as it happens, she saw him too!
That is just one of many compelling episodes. They even offer listener segues, so if you are so inclined, you can attach am MP3 recording of your voice in an episode segue i.e. "Hi, I'm ___________________, and you're listening to Astonishing Legends with Scott Philbrook and Forrest Burgess. Now back to the show."
All I can tell you is I'm rehearsing my vocal segue now and will send them my recording soon!
Thank you Astonishing Legends for satisfying my paranormal, mystery, and head scratcher curiosity.
Have a Happy Halloween everyone!
