Welcome to the Halloween Season!

This is Day 1 of our 31 Days of Halloween blog posts. So, let the Spooky Season begin!

I'm Helen, and I am a chef creating delicious food at The Witch's Tavern in Rhinebeck, New York. I work with my co-owners and childhood friends, Carolyn and Shannon. Carolyn is a server in our tavern. She also runs our public relations and social media. Shannon is a server and manages our staff, as well as plays the violin for private dinner parties in our enchanting backyard space. We all grew up in and love Upstate NY!

On to our first post: I've collected vintage Halloween cards since I was a kid. Therefore, I suggested a feature on Halloween & Autumn vintage covers from The Saturday Evening Post. I came across an October copy from a specialty paper store in NYC and now I want more. While I search to increase my collection, I want to share some nostalgic, fun, and delightfully spooky covers from a past era.
